Anyone see the Iron Maiden concert? Amazing. They brought back the Egyptian stage along with tons of explosions. The band sounds as fresh as ever.

You don't know what you're missing. Iron Maiden is one of the last staples of arena rock

I watched a show on that last night and how it landed and the solar panels were diploid. They have like 90 days before it's buried in 3 meters of frozen carbon dioxide.

Freq, just read Gavin Harrison got best prog rock drummer in Modern Drummer poles for Fear of a Blank Planet. Peart got best recorded performance. Yeah I read it Floyd. He's my fav these days along with Dave Weckl. The EP Porcupine Tree released after "Fear of a Blank Planet" has even more great Harrison drumming. Apparently the EP is leftover songs from the album. From what I understand they thought of a double album but then changed their mind. Not sure how true that is but Harrison's drumming is great on both. I haven't had time to work on the transcriptions that are posted in Modern Drummer but there are 10 in there total. I'm going to buy Gavin's latest instructional DVD when I get the chance.

New Alice Cooper this month.. :-) Lots of hype on this album and some cool promotional vids on Youtube... Search out "Along Came a Spider".. The album is about a serial killer named Spider who during a killing spree, falls in love with one of his victims to be. Creepy. I heard a few tunes and it sounds great. As always, stellar band with Coop.

YESSSSS. I have it. Great article and you get to see a lot of his Sonor kit. He talks more about his solo project than Porcupine Tree though but he does talk about King Crimson. The entire issue is dyno!!
