Well boys and girls, it's been a while since I addressed these slime balls that try and hack into my websites or continually barrage my message boxes on my various sites with comments so rude or incoherent that it's quite laughable. Sure there are some messages I've received over the years that make you wonder how these people are even on the streets and not behind bars but also, it makes you wonder how they can live with themselves. But alas, the world is full of dickheads like this and in some cases I enjoy making fun of them or as the saying goes, ironing out their dents. haha!. It is no secret that I have a few blog sites going along with this forum and it's no secret I have enemies. At first, I let people join and comment and life was good until a few individuals decided that is would be fun for them to just cause trouble and post attacks on members and myself. Normally, as an Administrator, you edit such comments on "normal" forums, scold the person and life goes on. Unfortunately on my sites, these people are in full attack mode and really want to cause hurt and damage. I know the deal. I've apparently done these people or friends of them wrong in the past and now that their panties are in a bunch, they have to feel superior by posting crap behind false nicnames on forums to get their jollies. The difference I found is that once you get an audience on sites like mine, and they start to enjoy it, the nuttier ones get addicted to what I say and start their twisted banter so by simply shutting off the posting functions, these nutty people really start to go squirrelly. I do however allow them to read the forum and rarely block anything from anyone being able to read threads on this forum. As I discovered by doing so, it sends these people into a complete tantrum and they try desparately to get back at me by using private messaging. They try and copy content from my site and post it on other sites hoping to get a following of supporters but also to see if I will follow them onto these sites, but I never do. I know the scheme. I just keep posting on my sites and it's great for me but it appears to bother them to no end. It's a dumb game of cat and mouse really. Over the past few years, readership on my forum has increased drastically and this is without much interference from these clowns. Interesting isn't it? I don't know why but obviously some get enjoyment from my rants. There are however a few that endulge in this stalking trait and focus on myself or others to dump their sick attacks on.
So, a few of my blogs have had these attacks thrown in my private message which I have kept there just to someday comment on. Since I have some free time today, I felt I would give a few examples of a couple of loyal stalking readers and their sickness of trying to get their point across.
The first comment is from a dickhead named "Kevin" who complains constantly about posts on all my sites. He just runs back and forth copying and pasting what I say and doing a smear job on the comments. This is common amongst these worms who would never ever approach you in person on a city street. They just hide in the shadows, fondling their balls until they see something I write that gets their goat and then the carnival banter begins. So let me set this up.
On my blog called "The Barking Eye" I did a few segments on a few local drummers. Since the blog "is" mine, I wrote about drummers that impressed me or who have done some interesting work around the local music community. The bottom line, they are drummers that I enjoy watching play or listening to. Well, this Kevin the Dick, decides that my opinions are wrong, egotistical or just not fair and he suggests other drummers that I "should" be talking about. Now, to most, this might throw them off kilter but too me my simple thought is "why not start your own site and talk about the drummers you like Kevin?". You would think this would be the perfect answer but nope. This person would rather bark comments on my sites telling "me" who I should write about. This person could have written a novel about the drummers he mentioned if you consider how many messages he sent to my site but nooooooooo... he's on a vendetta to push my buttons. This goes on constantly from site to site, year to year. Yes, it's a clown act. What I also find is that most of the drummers he mentions really haven't done much and most haven't even recorded any original music so it's pretty sad when you look at it. So here are a few comments. Honestly, they were posted a long time ago but it gets better and funnier with age. :-) This first quote is a portion of the constant banter from this guy Kevin pertaining to not talking about drummers this guy likes, or perhaps has slept with. :-) Not sure, and obviously don't care. ;-) The second one is from a guy claiming to be Wilson Harrison who obviously has a hate on for me.
Kevin quote #1
My mistake, I just thought you were showcasing local drummers and I think Anthony is local. I also did not know you were putting them in order of their ability. I am not Anthony. I am Kevin. I remembered the other drummers I was thinking of. They are: Rich Travesenut from Obsession Brent Royer from Wishbone Ed Evoy from Thin Ice Mark Mizzi (I am not sure what band he is with though). Phil Greco from Tripod the Dog Justin Marindola from Lunchbox band Would it not be fair and objective for you to include these drummers as well or do they have to fall into a narrowed professional category? If they are all professionals it seems fair to profile everyone. Just curious. I think this is a cool website; I just think it should be objective. That is just my opinion though, you can do what you feel is right; it is your website Mr. Thomas. K `
So, as you can see, Kevin thinks I should have wrote about "every" drummer in my 2 segment article on my Barking Eye blog. This type of
response is common on forums where a person like Kevin could have easily started his own blog or forum and talked about who he thinks should be talked about as a drummer. Nope!! He'd rather nag me. But who is Kevin and what does he know about drummers? He could have easily cleared the air by truly saying who he was and maybe I would have looked at his response a bit differently but he was a dickhead about it. So when you break down the drummers he mentions, really, only one has actually done something notable. Rich is an ok drummer, Ed has been fired from more bands than anyone I know, Brent is not with Wishbone anymore nor did he record their albums... ah.. that would be me WINK WINK ;-). Justin Marindola?? You don't even have his name right so why should I write about him. |O| Isn't his name Amendola? Kripes all mighty!! Honestly, I saw him play and he was just ok. Phil has done nothing since Tripod the Dog except shoot his mouth off, attack the wrong woman in a bar and make an ass out of himself, and I will give him marks for being great at that, and lastly, Mark, who is infact a good musician. So one drummer out of the lot. ;-)
So lets break this down a bit. Rich is with Obsession. And? He's an ok drummer. There are far better drummers in town that I would write about than Rich but that's my opinion, and my forum. ;-). There are worse drummers, do I write about them too? What would be the point? As for Brent, he didn't record the Wishbone albums and now he's not with them anymore. And? Brent is an ok drummer but again, there are better. Ed gets fired all the time. I don't think he's a good drummer at all. Obviously he gets fired for other reasons if you think he's a great drummer. If you like bad meters, Ed's your man. Anthony, ah... Mr. Mouth? Pleeeease....! He's good at talking but is that worth writing about in a drum article? There was never a chance in hell he could fill Mike Lilleys shoes in that Smurf band. And? He thinks he's better than what he actually is on drums. I personally think his playing is "uneventful". ;-) Sorry, Anthony is by no means worth writing about. Phil? Hmmm Tripod the Dog was done years ago and ya know, I saw them and actually filled in with them and they weren't that memorable to me. I was never into the "ska" thing. Phil has pretty much done nothing since. Not bad for a big mouth dick but sorry, not worth writing about. Finally, Mark. Yup, Mark is talented, a good back up singer and a solid musician and worth a drum article. ;-)
My simple statement to Kevin the Dickhead is to start your own forum and write about these so called great drummers you seem to want to preach about. Except for Mark, which I may write about, the rest of their wonderful music lives are in your hands. ;-)
Wilson Harrison quote 1 and 2:
I am not a stalker and I do not hate you. I just want you to tell the truth instead of lying about yourself so 'frequently'. My name is Wilson Harrison. I noticed you didn't put my other post up so I don't think tht you will publishe this one too.
Dude; stop lying to everyone! Everyone around knows that you were kicked out of wishbone, just like when that country band gave you the boot; you can't lie if you want respect. YOU DID NOT LEAVE;-) I don't care if you publish this or not dude. i'm just trying to say you should probably try to put more truth to what you say.
Yup, here is another comment by a beloved Freq hater. To answer Mr. Harrison, YES, I'm posting your comments. Enjoy!
So here is my break down of this little rant. First, it's no secret my favourite musicians right now are Steven Wilson and Gavin Harrison
of the band Porcupine Tree. I post about them and their band constantly on my sites. Notice this posters name (Wilson)(Harrison) aka Steve (Wilson) and Gavin(Harrison)? Almost instantly I knew it was a bogus poster. If this is your name, why use anonymous to post and then state your name in said post. Sheesh...! It's like kiddie school here. Then as the posts go on apparently I'm accused of lying. So what am I lying about? Oh, this stupid Wishbone thing again. So let's see, I recorded both albums and then was fired? Really? This is what this clown believes. Well, after 2 drummers following after I "left" Wishbone, I was called back to the band and we now have album 3 written. I might add that I paid for the entire printing and duplicating of Wishbone's second album myself. Now does this sound like someone that was "fired"? Eh dickhead? How does one get fired from a band yet keep getting asked to record or perform with a band? Obviously, I wasn't fired. ;-) Mr. Harrison is the perfect example of a dickhead who didn't listen to what I was saying, but believed someone else, and here we are months later, and he's (or she) got their foot in their mouth. If you want the truth, go to the source. How can anyone not understand that? It's been a major rule for newspapers for decades. So Mr. Harrison, if you want to buy Wishbone's 2nd album, you can thank me for being the one that paid for it. If you would like to see a receipt from the company I paid to do it, by all means I will post it just to make you look like a bigger dick. ;-) As for Thin Ice, you can continue to believe I was fired from that band all you want. The bottom line is that I got them into the bar scene being that most of the band members were just kids and this was their first time doing the bar thing. Can you really see kids firing an old man? |O| I am very proud to say I've never been fired from any band (yet). If you think I have... prove it. I'd love to hear it but since most of the bands I play in our "MY" bands, it's kinda hard to fire yourself. hehe
You will notice that these posters always comment on if I will post their comments. Because of their tactics, I will never give them the upper hand to twist things out of proportion and I will always add my 2 cents to the equation like I did just now. Back in the day of the old Musicians Central forum, I didn't have that ability and the attacks on myself and quite a few others ruined that first project of mine. That won't ever happen again. The main point of this little rant of mine is simply to convey that if you have something to say like these 2 clowns, say it to me personally, if you dare.. wink wink or try and find a little class and comment properly ;-)
Wasn't this fun kids?
