It's been almost a year easy since I recorded drum tracks for Wishbone's second album which was supposedly called "St. Misery". I've heard it may have changed and I've also heard that they're recording Wishbone 3 and abandoning Wishbone 2. These are rumours of course. The fact is that it took me a lot of effort to get a copy of the album the band and I worked hard on and recorded. I also recorded their first album plus did all the graphic work for it, their website and tons of other promotional things. Like many bands, we had a bad divorce and getting a "deserved" copy of Wishbone 2 was not happening even though I had easily earned it. So through my own connections I finally got a copy. I present you 5 songs from the 12 song album that if the band does get their shit together and release it properly like the first album, it will be worth a listen. Personally, I'm proud of the material and how it turned out and the band played a lot better on this offering than the first. So here's a taste of the long awaited Wishbone 2 album which at the time I recorded it, was called "St. Misery". All of the songs below have been heard on videos we the band at the time had posted from live or band practice performances but these 5 samples are the actual album tracks. You can visit the Wishbone Tribute Site ( www.myspace.com/wishbonemuzic) I have online as it features music from the first and 2nd albums but also all the graphic work I designed for the band while I was a member. It use to be the official site but you know how divorces go. |O| Still, I will never cut down the music we created. I think it's pretty damn good. ;-) The Messenger by WishboneJohnny Fisco by WishboneRace For Time by WishboneDevil's Dancing Shoes by WishboneHighwire by WishboneEnjoy!! Glen "the Freq"

F#@kin' -A Freq! Great songs man. Totally worth the wait. Messenger is just kick ass and so is Race for Time. Wishbone could have made it with that line up. What idiots. You know what else? It's a sin dick heads like Gsis Murphy smeared what Wishbone had going at that time because 2 solid albums from a local band in a row is unheard of but Wishbone did it after hearing these few new ones. The guys in Wishbone and Gsis Murphy all need their heads examined for ruining a good thing. Anyone else see this or am I talkin through my hat? F@#k you anyways |O|

Thanks Floyd. haha I just heard the finished songs and I like the way they turned out. I'm not crazy about the mix but song wise I'm happy with them. yes, the guys in the band didn't know a good thing when they had it but hey, that goes for a lot of bands. Had Wishbone focused on the task at hand, I'm sure things would have turned out great, but they didn't and now they're trying to dig out of a hole they dug themselves. As for Gsis Murphy, once assholes, always assholes. They could never write songs like Wishbone so instead, they helped ruin it for them. Luckily I saw through their B.S. from day one and slowly but surely people in this city are seeing it. Dennis writes great lyrics in his songs, something Murphy could only dream of doing. It is sad that local medai like Sootoday snubbed their noses to Wishbone music because it wasn't fluffy enough and if the band knew what the hell they were doing, they'd promote their stuff and sell it outside of the Sault where it would easily be appreciated. Unfortunately, Wishbone enjoys drama more than trying to make it |O|. Anyways, I love the music and I loved being a part of the creation and the recording of the music and I'm glad I finally got a copy of the album after a year.|O| Yup, another album recorded to put in my bag of accomplishments. And some people say I accomplish nothing? ;-)
