Just picked up the new Gov't Mule CD. This was produced and engineered by Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar/ Grady fame.. Solid band and very good music. A few songs definetly have a Big Sugar flavour. One pass through the album and I enjoy 3 quarters of it. This album is a different flavour for sure from previous releases. Guitar tones are great and Warren uses a lot of different sounds throughout the album along with the bass player Hess. Drummer uses vintage drums a good ole percussion and at times you hear that good ole Bohnam thing happening.. It's so nice to hear a great band with wonderful musicianship.. ;D
