I've seen it in stores but haven't heard it.. Queen teams up with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company doing hits from both bands. Anyone heard it? Please post and tell us about it..

I haven’t heard that particular album. I believe it was recorded at Hyde Park. I’ve downloaded probably 5 or 6 shows from the same tour and they are great. I was a little hesitant about this whole Queen reunion, especially since A) Paul Rodgers is not Freddie and B) John Deacon wasn’t involved. But, after hearing these concerts I am very impressed. Rodgers doesn’t even try to compare to Freddie. He sings Queen in his own style and it actually works quite well. Although they do a few Bad Company songs – I’m sure mainly to amuse Paul – this is a Queen show.
I would definitely recommend this album. I am planning on going out to get it eventually and if you’re a fan of Queen, this is a must have. If anything, it makes you appreciate just how amazing Queen and more specifically Freddie were. It’s a shame that one of the greatest vocalists not only in rock, but ALL of music died way too early. I also have to add that it is truly a pleasure to hear Brian May’s guitar live again!! Long Live Queen!!

Deacon isn't there? Well that's odd. Paul Rodgers is a great singer and I'm glad he does it his way. I do remember George Michaels singing on the Live Queen tribute to Freddie Mercury and he actually was great with Queen. I am a Queen fan and I think I'll pick the CD up also.. I think the curiousity is too overwhelming for me. :-) Thanks Darkstar..

I guess Deacon didn't want a part of it. Queen did their last show in 86 as far as he's concerned. There were rumours about Michaels joining Queen as well as Elton John. I agree...George Michaels was great. Probably one of the best at the tribute concert. I also thought that Gary Cherone from Extreme would have done a great job. Extreme were by far the best band at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.
I must say, that was not a fan of Bad Company and Paul Rodgers, but he has totally impressed me. He really is a good singer.

Speaking of Extreme,,, I heard they were re-uniting.. Have you heard anything? They were a great band and I agree with you on the Queen Tribute comments.

I haven't heard anything. I know Nuno has done some solo stuff. I think he was in a band called Population 1 or something like that. They were a great band. It's unfortunate that they kind of got lumped in with a lot of cheese that was happening at the time. I'll have to look into Extreme getting back together.
