I have to admit I was blown away by the latest ads in Modern Drummer pertaining to Taye Drums. Their new hardware designs are very cool and interesting.. For drummers playing small clubs, their hardware ideas are almost a must for valued realestate on a tiny stage.. A few players have Taye drums and they sound great. You can hear Taye drums on a few tracks by our local band Big Suits CD and website. Here's the Taye Drums link. www.tayedrums.com/

I had a chance to play a Taye kit at Lop Lops a while back. I think they were owned by Crank. The kit sounded quite nice and I felt pretty comfortable. They do have a nice site with a lot of variety especially the Taye Originals. Pretty funky colours. Oh and Freq, can you call or email me please? It's kinda important. Thanks

Yeah Rav bought a set for doing sound gigs. I've tried a set too.. I like them.. I haven't tried their top of the line drums though. They do have an interesting cymbal stand setup.. Cymbal booms connect to floor tom legs and you can add pieces to each boom piece.
Go to their site and check out the ACS system.. Very cool.
