I'd like to thank Sootoday for covering all the Sault musicians that played this years annual "Rocking On the River" concert in Blind River. It's nice to have so much loyal support from our local media...............................HA! Of course the truth is, they didn't, but I'm sure they were there in spirit, right kids? (insert sarcasm here.. hehe) I'm sure If they did write an article about the musicians and this event it would have gone something like this... "What concert? Where? What bands? huh? What is rock music? Wishbone who? Other Sault musicians? There are others? OOPS, I broke a nail. What's a river? Rocking?Like in a chair? Annual concert? Really? 2 Day event? Like 48 hours? How can a river be blind??? Sorry, we can't leave our desks to report such nonsense unless it is fact and this is simply not fact. We also can't report on anything unless it's at least one block away from our office or less or on Queen Street in the Sault.. " End of sarcasm. So since Sootoday was yet again having a nap while this was going on, I will thank those who put the show on and the musicians and sound crew for taking part in this event and for traveling the miles to make this show possible and for the fans who supported this cool event.. I hope it continues to build for many years. Warning: self promotional videos to follow.
Also, I have returned drumming for Wishbone for a few shows including this one. Their drummer was fired. News on that later.
