Whoo Hoo!!! Here are some New lows for some good ole local musicians. It's one thing to shoot ones mouth off about your fellow musicians and have good old fashioned rivalries, but some Soo good ole boys have taken things to new lows. Apparently, and I say apparently because this all feels like a wonderful scam at the moment, 3 local bands that got tired of doing their hair and looking in the mirror watching their lard expand came up with the idea to boycott the Canadian Nightclub and (ME) and my band Wishbone from doing an opening slot for the recording act Grady. Now, when I first got this message, I literally laughed my ass off because I expected something to happen. Sometimes, people are so predictable. What triggered my suspicions was a letter I got from one James BDK S**** asking my band Wishbone to do a "Toys for Kids Concert" for the Canadian Nightclub. Now, understand, we were already booked for this Grady show and posters were made. Hmmmm, sounds like a contract no?? The reason I felt something wasn't right was this message from James. This guy is sooooooooooo not truthworthy. I've had run ins with this blow hard before and to get this request PLUS saying that he didn't want to be part of the "DRAMA" just sent the bells ringing in my head. This was last night... Tonight, our show is sacked and a laughable boycott is made for little ole me and my band Wishbone to not play. To say this is pathetic is not a strong enough word but in reality, I expected nothing less from these musicians that once again prove they, spend more time doing stupid things rather than "LEARNING HOW TO PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENTS". Musical instrument that is. Ok.. so you boycott the Canadian Nightclub from the Freq? I haven't played there in like a year and before that, 8 years. So what? Is it to make me cry? Ain't happening. Wishbone opened for Grady last year doing all originals why you 3 bands were doing? I dunno, nose picking? Sure, I wasn't with Wishbone then and didn't get to open but I was there AND got to meet Gordie Johnson. That's the prize winner right there. Opening his show this Sunday would have just been icing on the cake. ;-) So, this show on Sunday would have been fun but I won't die without it. You accomplished nothing as usual. Don't you get tired of losing?? |O|. I've seen Gordie and company many many times. The loss is yours. You have to understand that there are other places to play and there are bars in every city. There's also the internet where music is alive and well, that's Wishbone and Freq's original music and you can't boycott everything. I guess you don't read my forum very closely. I've stated that I can enjoy writing and recording in my own basement if that's all I'm left with. Live playing is a bonus but I don't need it if it suddenly vanishes. You accomplished nothing except, once again, making yourselves look like idiots. You can't make me look bad because everyone knows I'm Freqish already. You few musicians will be honored here as the slime we forum members knew you were |O| Wear it proudly. Your other "Slam the Freq" campaigns blew up in your face... just wait and see how bad this one will look on you. ;-) Anyways, I sent a few messages to Grady to enlighten them of what happened since we were BOOKED. We're on the poster and I have messages saying we were playing. Is this a contract? Anyone watch Judge Judy? Does anyone else remember the court case I won when someone we all know broke a contract? Hands up now? Anyone remember? You people just don't like to play by the rules when you're dreaming this stuff up. |O| Now. Honestly.. do any of you think that this is not a contract for Wishbone to play despite what your dislike for me says? If my band is not welcomed to play, what do I care about the bar? I always enjoyed playing there but I'm painted in a corner now? Too funny.. Well, the guy who booked us seems to be on the up and up so I won't bother being the usual Freq and iron legalities into your thin heads. This gig would have been fun but it's not the end of the world. Not for me anyways. So since I'm not allowed to play the Grady show, I'm sure there's no chance of me "seeing" the Grady show since a few small voices, (and brains) have acted and punished Freq... NOT! . I wonder what the future holds? (insert twilight Zone music here)

That is totally unbelievable. I'm sorry, but that kind of bull just doesn't happen in my hometown. That's just brutal. You should just come and play over here Freq. I know you use to but they'd love you guys here. I know you Freqy and you always come out on top.

Man, the shit that happens in this city when it comes to musicians |O| This is better than Jerry Springer. 3 local bands shit on a band striving to make original music. 3 below average cover bands I might add. That really doesn't look good at all on the Canadians redecorated face. I say f*ck 'em all. It's open season on these bands and that lowlife bar. I see you posted on Grady's site Freq. Beautiful. If one of these bands opens for Grady, I'll throw up for sure.

This is quite frankly, unbelievable. I would have never have thought that musicians would do something so low for the sake of proving superiority. You're right. It's like the Jerry Springer show. I know it doesn't bother you Freq but that's a pathetic display. Maybe this was a scam all along and you were right about it. You should post the message Freq for all to read. I feel sorry for Wishbone who are big fans of Gordie Johnson.

Man.. this Sault music scene loves gossip. They don't really care about music.. it's gossip that makes the hits on forums. Since the BS from the Grady show, the hits on this site alone are up. All gossip mongers. |O|

Boycott? How the hell did I miss this? What kind of bar owner is that spineless to not allow you to play? I won't even say what I think of those bands that got that going. I'm with Floyd, I hope they enjoy payback. I see on your Facebook Freq you won't be going to the show because you got boycotted but you're going to listen to the new Grady CD. Let me know how it is. I might pick it up.

Freq, you'll love this. You really have to have balls to cause a boycott and then, not show up at the show you trained wrecked. Michelle and I went to REO Speedwagon since your show got canceled and guess what musicians we saw in the audience? I wonder who truly showed up at the Grady show after they ruined it for Wishbone and you. I bet these morons don't even know who Grady is. By the way, Reo Speedwagon was great as always. I've seen them 3 times. I wonder if the Grady show was good. Anyone go?

Did anyone think that wouldn't happen Fingerbang? |O| I know the drummer of Cheese Explosion was there. I saw photos on Facebook. I highly doubt that most of them knew who Grady was to start with. I picture a blank stare when mentioning "Grady". Nah, it's all about "spite" and seeing how far one can go. All I do is comment.. aka freedom of speech. Notice how they're always the ones to "physically do something"? They have to do that because my words mean so much to them |O| They're addicted to my chatter yet just can't respond on here. In their minds, they're defenseless so the only way is to, ummm, let me quote Olivia Newton John here,,, "get physical" haha. Again, it doesn't bother me like they think it does. It always, and I mean always comes back to hurt them. People know what I'm like. I've been this way all my life and that goes for my big yap. If some are shocked then it's because they didn't know me well enough. Now, if I can cut myself down on here and laugh at my own actions then what I say shouldn't bother anyone. If you're dumb enough to do something REALLY stupid you have to accept the consequences. The Freq does, always have. If it costs me a band, so be it. If it costs me respect, so be it. I really don't think I had that in the first place |O| So really Fingerbang, these 3 bands have to live with physically trying to squash a person and ruining a person's life by boycotting a person and his band because they don't know how to deal with me. It's that simple really. It won't shut me up ;-) Writing is part of my life. I enjoy it. I know now that I have some type of quirky gift for writing because it seems to affect others in weird ways |O|.
I heard the Grady show was great. A friend of mine from the SMS posted some photos of the show. Since I was boycotted from playing I'm sure I would have been refused at the door of the club. I'm sure Grady would have enjoyed my friends from work and fans of the Freq to add to his paycheck with our presence there but alas, we decided save our money and not give the bar and these slimes the satisfaction of causing a scene.
So I wonder what's next? Any guesses? Physical attack? House break in? Tires slashed? Kidnap my gold fish? |O| It's coming, I can feel it.
|O| Who the heck thought a boycott would stop me from typing. sheesh.. |O| Guess what.. the Grady concerts over and.........I'm still typing ;-)

Who cares about the Canadian Freq. The same bands play there all the time and I just find it boring. It was like that years ago too. The problem is that once these bands are locked into a rotation, they get lazy and play the same songs every time they play. It's dull. The band they had this weekend were horrible.
One thing for sure Freq is that these goofs can't ban you from the internet so your voice, music and video will always get an audience. You're every where and your personal blog on Blogger is also catching on. I love reading it because it's different topics, not just music. Fingerbang needs to have one too |O| She'd really scare people |O|

I have friends that work at Docks and they're sick of the bands they have there and yes, Gsis Murphy is one of them. |O| All my sites are experiencing an up count in visits. They all have counters embedded in them so I know how many visit per day. I highly doubt many will find my blog on Blogger interesting but I'm just as opinionated on there haha. Oh and this is for the little goof that's posting links to my site especially to the Asshole of the Year Award thread. If you'd pay attention you'd know that most on that list screwed me over on some deal OR just didn't play the game of life right. I was also on the list but unfortunately, the best man won. Now stop crying ya suck. What a bunch of babies these Cheezie Smurfy followers are. Love Freq.

Hey freq. You'd probably have a good defamation case against the bar and the 3 bands that caused the loss of this gig. Everything you've posted on this site is true. You may put your own sarcastic humour on it but none the less what you post is true. For example, Cheezie Smurfys bass player had his name in the news and he was in fact arrested. Dr. Phil did in fact go after a woman at the Canadian and did in fact go after our own Fingerbang in email. I know you keep all that email crap documented, but in the case with the Canadian, you had the booking, you were on the poster and you have a letter asking you to play yet another Canadian show. If you were good enough for those 2 shows, what was the problem? In the case of the Toys for Kids show or whatever it was called, the employee knew full well who you were and your reputation. You in fact lost the show because of these 3 bands approaching the bar in question and tainting your reputation. The other major factor is that you yourself have played the Canadian bar for well over 2 decades, far longer then any of these 3 bands, with good quality bands that were in fact booked years at a time, correct? This Smurf band has constantly started other sites focused on strictly you where as your site a music site does not advertise membership or promote links to it. They did in fact cause you to lose your job because of what they said. The bar used poor judgment. You have documented proof that 2 Canadian employees wanted you for 2 separate playing jobs before these 3 bands stepped in. Is this a Defamation case or what? I found reading the law on defamation pretty interesting.

Here's the poster, proof that we were booked. I have the email from the employee who hired us and this is his poster design which he sent to me at the time we were a go for the concert. I posted this just to let people AND evil Smurfy lurkers know that I'm not talking bullshit. ;-) Quartermass, I know I have a case against the bands hands down BUT there's a problem and that's the guy who booked us. This employee is stuck in the middle of doing the right thing and 3 prick bands with a vendetta and a bar that chose poor judgment. Unlike these idiot bands, I have to take into consideration this employee who booked us for the Canadian, mainly because he appears to be on the up and up with me. I can't and won't ruin things for him because really, he's the guy stuck between a rock and a hard place. The bottom line is, these 3 bands cost me a job by defamation. What I post on my site is opinion and mockery but NEVER and I repeat NEVER have I gone to any of these band members work places and said, hey, you know Keith so and so, he's a bad influence. You should fire him. I also don't go to the bars these crap bands play and say hey, Mr. bar owner, Cheezie Smurfy are a bad influence to your establishment and write mean things about me and really suck and if you don't listen to me I'll take a tantrum and piss on your bar floor and not play your bar anymore with our millions of fans. Nah.. that's the sign of a weak and desperate person not to mention a bunch of f**kin' pussies. That IS NOT the Glen "the Freq" Thomas way. The other bands that walked into this are like sheep and follow the old ring leaders. The problem, and I hope you're reading this idiots, is that you cost my band and I a job. That IS a case for defamation of character. You might want to read about that in a law book. I do have years of playing at the Canadian bar and yes never had a problem with any owners and yes, made them a ton of money... Remember Southern Guns and those packed weekends at the Canadian and the Caswell that happened for years? I'm sure you do.;-) None the less, I am not going to be a prick and hurt the middle man who is the guy that booked us for this Grady show. I can only go by my gut feeling as I've only corresponded with him via online messages but out of all of this, he's been the most truthful. If he's bullshitting me, well then he'll make my asshole list for 2010 |O| So by bringing a case against these 3 bands, he would be hurt, his job could be at risk and he could be alienated from friends so I won't take legal action. Me, I don't give a RATS ASS who likes me or what they do to me because I know, in the end, The Freq will still have been true to himself and not have had to lie his ass off to get ahead. These 3 scum bands will dry up and fade away like a short fart and I will still be here. |O| Ok.. so I won't be playing the Canadian again. All I can say is, no problem. I won't :-) It doesn't bother me at all. I'm not the begging kind like these 3 slime bands. ;-) I have just been asked by 2 OTHER local bars to play with my main band Flat Stanley. We will be live in a bar soon ;-) OH!!!! One of you 3 bands may be out of work soon so you might want to take up a hobby while you're sitting at home jerking off |O| If it comes down to me never playing live again in the Soo, I'm fine with that. It just saves me from moving gear|O| As long as I have the internet that touches the world, I'll be a happy camper. The Freq's music and his bands music will still find ears to listen, I will still have peoples eyes to read my rants, I will still have an audience to view my bands via YouTube or the likes. If people want to see my bands play, I will always find a way to showcase them. No small group of slimes like the Smurfs will ever stop that. They still haven't got that in their thick heads yet. ;-) The Freq Lives On!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my morning java and bagel while reading this forum. It's my morning ritual ;D Its a no brainer Freq. They cost you the job by defamation. Two employees ask you to do gigs, one is confirmed and you're on the poster. What dumb ass doesn't know that's defamation of character? If anything, posts on here about said crap ass bands have kept them popular because really, their careers were done years ago |O| Something still stinks about that whole deal including the middle man. The good thing about all of this is that these bands have confirmed by their own actions what you've known and said they were like all along. Isn't that a kick in the head?|O| Just like Doc Phil. It just takes them time to cross the line show their true colours. I prefer to say, hang themselves.

Here's the kind of dick heads we're dealing with. After boycotting me from the Grady show, the lead singer, I think his name is Tony Blowme tries to join my band Flat Stanleys fan site. They just can't stay on their own drab forum. It's open season on Smurfs |O|
On a side note, the Gsis Murphy love theme "Kung Fu Fighting" is playing on a TV commercial while I type this.. I kid you not |O|
