I thought I'd try my hand at this Norah Jones song "The Nearness of you", but it's trying my brain instead! I'm putting the link to the tab site here, if only to show the chords asked for. [glow=red,2,300] C69/E [/glow]? really? ;at least the tabster shows the chord shapes here. I like to learn new chords but this is ridiculous! www.911tabs.com/link/?978972well, back to the drawing board. Er, I mean the guitar. just airing my frustrations...... (Plus I'm a little bored )

haha. You're not alone in your troubles.. From reading a few posts on the internet, those chords are stumping a few.. That's why I'm a drummer first..hehe.. No chords..:-)

I'm still working on this, it's coming along quite nicely. I've been cheating on this chord: F/G. i see it listed as 333211 i play it 303211 seeing as I only have the four fingers on that hand. Can it be played the way it's listed? Is there a trick?

Holy Cow, slowest connection of all time! No, HDG, no capo. I use my left index to barre the high e & b strings, so I play it using 304211 fingering. they list 333211 as the chord. seems like there has to be some kind of barre at the 3rd fret, low E,a,d strings. Oh! I'm not even sure I understand what I'm going on about! "goodnight, now it's time to go home...and he makes it fast with one more thing...." Dire Straits

hey..me again My man has printed out "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica, from Guitartabs; this one: www.guitartabs.cc/gotourl.php?fileid=10592636&server=1Does anybody here know whether this tab is correct or nearly so or really awful or what? If this one is bad, do you know a good one somewhere? Metallica is not my cuppa. I don't want to have to listen to it obsessively! Nezumi

Nezumi I don't think it's 100% accurate, but it's as close as your going to get. The solos look pretty good, I didnt read the whole thing, but what I saw looks pretty good.
