I've added the new local band "The Revue" to the list in the post of above. I've also added local veterans "Stifler's Mom" to the list. Both sites have songs, pictures and comment sections and are part of the MySpace Network.. Enjoy..

I've added a few more local band links to their site. This is by no means a complete list of local bands. As I snoop the internet and come across them, I post them. :-) Some have video group pages on You Tube that promote the band. I've noted those in the main list.

I just added local musician Mike Cliffe to the list of sites. I put his "Reverbnation" site as a link as it has a ton of songs Mike has written and are free to listen to. Mike loves to write on the outer edge of mainstream and is not afraid to take chances with being extreme with his music. Love it!. Some of his music should be in indie films. ;-) Check out is music at the link above. Here's a new song he just posted. Dead Moon by Mike Cliff

WOW, here's a gem of an old local band I just found. Anyone remember our local band "Foothill Road"? I have their CD buried in my archive of stuff somewhere but I didn't know they had a Myspace site. I just came across it and it looks fairly new so maybe there is something new brewing with them. I know my band Rainhorses did a show with them in Sudbury for the Great Rocky Mountain Party concert which featured 2 days of headliners and local acts from Sudbury. I've not seen nor heard of them since. We were the odd few that got on the bill from Sault Ste. Marie. Foothill Road contained some excellent musicians but it seemed after this band split, all the musicians vanished until recently when the guitarist Mario, joined forces with legendary local rock drummer Mike Oakley to form the new band "Sneaky Pete". The singer Ken Luxton is on my Facebook page but I never got a response from him after we connected. Their album is quite good and you can listen to some cool tracks on their newly established website. The bio on the page says they have 2 albums but I only remember the one and it was very good. It also says the band is apparently recording but not gigging. Maybe something new will appear from this band in the near future. Foothill Road are: RICK BAIN (DRUMS) NANCY HENRECH-BAIN AKA VAMP TRAMP (BASS) KEN LUXTON (VOCALS) MARIO CARLUCCI (GUITARS) Their Myspace band link has been added to my main list. Click the link below to listen some classic heavy music by Foothill Road. If you've not heard of Foothill Road before, you're in for a treat. www.myspace.com/foothillroadcousinit

I've added 2 bands to the master list.
No Arrow.. a local heavy band with an image similar to the band Blue Cheer from the late 60's. We need to hear more from them.
Secondly, The Billy Bastards. These guys are unique by Soo standards and that's probably why I like them. I'm a big fan of the band The Derailers and the Billy Bastards have that flavour. Of course with a little more edge ;-) Good ole rockabilly party music.
