Ty Tabor sent me a message via Facebook that King's X are heading home to recharge after the tour with Porcupine Tree. I'm on both band's forums and for the most part, the shows were great. Negatives were that Porcupine Tree did the entire "Incident" song in it's entirety and some had hoped for a wider selection of tunes from other albums. I'd probably agree with that too. I've also heard that King's X as a band played better than PT. That doesn't surprise me either as King's X have always been great live. They have not gotten the best sound opening for PT. That I find disappointing and never understood why the opening act gets crappier sound. The band RUSH always gave their opening acts the best possible. You have to win the fans by talent, not by given your opener bad sound.. sheesh!!
King's X are suppose to have a live DVD of a show from this tour. Rumours are one from England. We shall see. Porcupine Tree also has one coming from the Fear of a Blank Planet tour.. I patiently wait for both..
I have yet to receive my latest King's X Ty Tabor CD called "Balance". Sometimes living in Canada sucks when you have to deal with our postal service. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
