King's X have been on tour with Extreme this past August and from the reviews having been putting on some great shows. One problem that has been noted is that King's X have no CD's for sale at the merchandise tables. I'm not sure why and I'm looking into it but so far no one knows why. The last live date I've seen is Sept 1 - 2008 which was a headliner show. So far, no other dates have been listed anywhere which is puzzling. I will keep you up on the tour when it continues. On a side note, the King's X message board (ironpoet) is down because of some major bugs and I talked to the owner(admin) and he's not sure if it will continue which I found disappointing. After all the battles to make a better message board than the original, which to me was a bit over the top, it seems all of the fighting was for nothing. Hopefully he'll change his mind and get the message board fixed. I've heard of yet another rumour of King's X being asked to play Letterman but personally, I think it's all hype.. Yes, the Letterman band does play a King's X song "We Were Born To Be Loved" but the offer for them to play has never materialized in the few years the rumour has been kicking around. Put it this way... I'll believe it when I see it. Also, Doug and Ty and 2 members of the Galactic Cowboys have thrown together a song for you to buy in a joint venture called "The Jibbs".
