I just tried new set of strings out last night at the Outback. They are GHS Proggressives gauges .009 to .050. Nice ..........fairly heavy on top for lots of chunk and light on the bottom so you can still get around on the solos with ease. They were the same price as all the other strings. I put them on my Ibanez Jem which usually has 10's on it. Anyone with a floating trem knows if you change your string gauge you will have problems with the height of your trem. These strings didn't move the trem at all. Big strings........big tone.

You can get DR strings at the Music Depot on Gore st. They don't stock the bass strings but they have DR for 6 strings. I'm sure you can order them.
