Test Your Speed on the Drumometer

Anyone tried the Drumometer at Music Depot yet? I have along with a few others I know.
The Drumometer is a practice pad with a sensor trigger in it that records each hit of the sticks you make within a 60 second time frame. It's actually fun but it can be frustrating too. The store is recording the names and scores of anyone who tries it.
The record to beat is 819 in 60 seconds which is held by Alan, one of Music Depots drum teachers. Head down and try it out. It's amazing how tough it is to do single stroke rolls for one minute at maximum speed. (right, left, right, left)

Freqster. I got 703 on one down here at a shop near Detroit. It was tuff. The pad doesn't feel like my snare drum skin at all. What did you get? 800? I can't remember sorry. I'll never get 1200 that's for sure. That video was crazy.

Here's our local list. I'm waiting for the updated one. A few have moved up and the leader has I believe hit 840.. I haven't broken 800 yet.. I haven't tried it in a while though.. Maybe this weekend.. ;D

I agree with you Floyd but there were some really cool people that were members earlier on like Bacon, Betelguese, Buck, Tippikitty.
True, there's no love loss between these dinks you mentioned but it wasn't like our lives had much of a connection except as an audience member from time to time. As for the knob you mention, yes, he has a meter problem and I doubt it was the beer but he does play pretty good. We can't all be normal ya know.. There were far worse people on that old forum than that guy.
