Hey Floyd.. the Dave Mathews song "too much" was in our set list a few years ago. I just happened to find that recording in a box of tapes and thought sound wise it was pretty good. The drumming I did on it at that time wasn't very good. It was a toughy to learn and play with the click track. When we finally did dial it in, we played it a few times live. People just seem to like other DM songs more than that one even though the Mattews band plays Too Much as a jam tune in almost every one of their shows.

I've updated the Flat Stanley website with quite a few sound files and hope to have some video up there soon that was taken from of our earlier shows. I've also added a few more pictures.

News: Flat Stanley is now a 4 piece band with a new bass player and a 2nd guitarist. We've just been practicing new tunes and getting things up and running and hope to be playing soon. The idea of going 4 piece was a long thought out thing and if it wasn't for all of us being the back up band in Plethora, it may not have happened. It's been a long journey that's for sure for Jim and I in Flat Stanley who have been on hiatus for almost 2 years due to surgery, bass player changes and a host of other obstacles that popped up in that time frame. With the addition of Mark and Tony on bass and guitar, the band has taken on new life and a new chemistry. With everything going well, it's given me yet another outlet to create Flat Stanley graphics to annoy everyone with.. HA! For those who might ask..... YES, the car in that picture is one of my '57 Ford Fairlanes that remain unrestored. I do hope to drive this one by next summer. ;D
