I personnally like the "applying at sutherland"....and all the disability stuff....and my own personal favorite was The Drummometer...in musician central....I torched a few guys for posting something on here which they had no right to do so.....that was interesting......my 2 cents Freq. Did you see this? It was posted on Soapbox. I read that entire musician's central scenario and I think the only thing he accomplished was making himself look like a dweeb. I didn't see so much a thrashing as much as I saw this person becoming mentally unstable. Didn't this bozo quit Soonet? ......my 2 cents.

Sadly Nikki, he did quit but obviously changed his nicname and returned to the forum. Strange how he wanted the drumometer thing taken off MC and his membership discontinued yet he's back under another nicname and again mentioning the drumometer after I apologized, removed his name from the list, etc. It's a no win situation Nikki. I'm not sure what his deal is but as long as he's happy eh? I agree though, I saw no thrashing.

The May issue of Modern Drummer is out and there's a great tribute article on legendary drummer Mark Craney following his passing months ago. The article contains some old rare photos and lots of reflections by some of the world's greatest drummers like Bozzio and Vinnie Colaiuta and more. I also found a link to a live performance of Mark Craney when he toured with Jethro Tull in 1980 doing the song "Aqualung". I always loved his playing on this particular concert. There are some nice shots of Mark on his huge double bass Ludwig kit. His playing on this show is stellar. He also has a flurry of double bass notes during the end part of the guitar solo that are so amazing. Here's Mark Craney live with Jethro Tull doing Aqualung
