My band Flat Stanley is just putting the finishing touches on the remake of Don Felder's song "Heavy Metal". Yes, this is the one from the movie of the same title. We were always a fan of this song and seeing that tons of musicians are doing remakes or tributes to other artists, we decided to pick a song that we liked a lot and and record it. Recording of the song began a few weeks again and it turned out to be a lot of fun. We are going to do a video for the song and we will be posting a downloadable version for everyone. This will be a totally free download as we did it for fun and want nothing for it. When it is complete which shouldn't be too long, we will post a link for the tune here on Freq's Music Planet.
